As I watched Shakespeare on film I could understand what was going on, but found the language to be a little difficult at times. Throughout the film though, it got easier to understand what the words meant and my vocabulary began to grow to the point that I could understand what each character was saying without really thinking about it. So far Shakespeare seems to be a very interesting person who writes great stories that I would enjoy reading or watching forever.
I am very excited to begin reading Romeo and Juliet in class next week. I have heard many good things about it and I am immensely grateful that I finally get to read it instead of just hearing about it from other people. I don't really know anything about Romeo and Juliet, although I've heard about it a lot, so getting to learn more about it will be a great experience. I don't know how much you're going to enjoy the next two months, but I'm sure I will enjoy them greatly. Learning about Romeo and Juliet is something I have wanted to do for a long time now, and I happy to finally have the chance to read it and learn about it.
